Privacy Policy & Data Manifesto

1. The Zero-Server Privacy Guarantee

Unlike conventional invoicing platforms, Deleix Invoice Maker is built on a zero-server storage architecture. Your invoice drafts, seller details, client names, line item descriptions, monetary rates, tax amounts, bank accounts, and uploaded logos are never transmitted to, processed on, or stored on any remote server. All document rendering and BigInt financial calculations execute entirely inside your local browser sandbox.

2. Local Storage Disclosures (dim.* Keys)

To preserve your work between browser sessions without requiring account creation or server databases, Deleix Invoice Maker utilizes your browser's native HTML5 localStorage. All stored keys are strictly namespaced under the dim.* prefix:

• dim.draft: Stores the active invoice draft currently being edited in your browser so you do not lose progress on page refresh.
• dim.settings: Stores your persistent user preferences, such as default currency, paper size (A4 / Letter), active visual theme, and downscaled seller logo.
• dim.backup: Holds a temporary 10-second recovery buffer created immediately prior to clearing an invoice, enabling the undo toast action.
• dim.license: Stores your Pro subscription state (free, checking, pro, pro-offline-grace, lapsed) and cryptographic license key. Never stores payment card numbers.
• dim.clients: Stores your saved client address book profiles locally on your device for rapid form autocomplete.
• dim.templates: Stores your saved reusable invoice templates.
• dim.history: Stores an index of locally saved invoices with status tracking (draft, sent, paid) for accounting reference.

You can delete all stored local data at any time by clearing your browser cookies and site data for invoice-maker.deleix.com, or by using the single-click "Clear Invoice" function.

3. Third-Party Payment Processing (Stripe)

When you subscribe to Deleix Invoice Maker Pro, payment processing is handled directly by Stripe. All payment card details, billing addresses, and credit card numbers are collected directly by Stripe via their secure hosted checkout. Deleix Invoice Maker never sees, processes, or stores your payment card credentials. Stripe processes your data in accordance with their privacy policy and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance standards.

4. Cloudflare Worker & Transient KV Caching

Our API is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and is strictly used to communicate with Stripe for license validation. To maximize performance and protect against rate abuse, our Worker utilizes Cloudflare KV for transient operational data:

• entitlement: prefix: Caches subscription active status for up to 24 hours to prevent repeated Stripe API requests on every page visit. Contains only Stripe Customer ID and status string; contains zero invoice or billing figures.
• evt: prefix: Caches Stripe webhook event IDs for 3 days to guarantee idempotent webhook processing and prevent duplicate license emails.
• rl: prefix: Stores temporary rolling request counters (1-minute window) to prevent automated rate abuse on checkout and restore endpoints.

5. Transactional Email Communications (Resend)

If you subscribe to Pro or submit your email to the license restore form, we use Resend to deliver your plain-text license key. Our transactional emails are delivered as pure text messages containing zero tracking pixels, zero web beacons, and zero marketing affiliate cookies.

6. Analytics, Tracking & Advertising Pixels

Deleix Invoice Maker operates with zero behavioral advertising networks, zero retargeting tags, and zero third-party marketing trackers (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel). We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information under any circumstances.
